Soon...

I get that "herp" bug every year, but this year seems different to me. I'm really antsy to get out and at least get some good scenery shots. Now I'll be able to take my son w/ me which is a plus as well. I took a picture of him at South Mountain Park last week. I would have loved to get a pic of my wife as well, but she seems to be camera shy lately.

Back to herpin'...

So peepz are posting on facebook about finding gila monsters and different rattlesnakes, patchnose snakes, ground snakes, etc.. it just makes me want to get out there even more.

It's supposed to rain this weekend which will be good for the animals, but terrible for me photography wise, as I am working nights currently (until April) and really only have Saturday to do anything as I'm typically sleeping all day. My goal is to find a mate for Rosy this year and right now is roughly the time to get out there so we'll see what happens.

I have some ideas right now, but need to get out to these spots early for flipping at present. If anyone still reads my blog then thanks for reading. Here is a picture of Rilee (my son) from last Saturday afternoon:2/22/14
